Subscriptions
What's happens after I start a subscription?
When you sign up for a Noise Boyz subscription, you'll be taken to a checkout page to pay for your first month, and for
round-trip shipping (afterwards, you only have to pay for shipping on
months where you swap your pedals).
Immediately after you've
completed the payment, you'll be taken to a page to select your first
pedals! That screen will show all of our pedals, and make sure you select
the right amount for your membership. For example, if you just completed
checkout for a 2 Pedal Plan, the screen would look like this:
You can see the button says "1 / 2 Selected". You will not be
able to proceed until you've chosen all your pedals. As soon as you pick,
we'll send your pedals out! You'll be able to see in your dashboard what
pedals you're playing, and swap them out for different pedals the next
month.
How often can I swap pedals?
On all of our plans, you can swap pedals once a month. You can choose to
swap some or all (or none!) of your pedals, depending on if you are on the
1 pedals, 2 pedal, or 3 pedal subscription.
For example, if
your subscription is for 2 pedals a month, once a month you have the
option to swap out both of your pedals, only swap out 1 pedal, or keep
playing your pedals for another month!
The swap window opens
up 10 days before your monthly renewal date, so you have 10 days to pick
the pedal you want to try next and initiate the return of the pedal(s) you
currently have. Your next pedal(s) is shipped out when you initiate the
return of the pedal you are currently renting, so you don’t pay for time
you don’t have a pedal in hand.
Each time you swap, you will
have to pay for shipping! You only have to pay your monthly subscription
fee if you keep your pedals, we don't want to penalize you for loving what
you're playing.
How do I swap pedals?
When your swap window opens (10 days before your next months subscription)
you can go to your account and initate a swap. When you log in, you'll see
a purple card to start the swap process:
Once you click the button, you'll be taken to a screen to choose
which
pedals you want to swap. Remember, you don't have to swap out all of your pedals
each month! If you want to keep playing some but swap out another, that's totally
up to you. At the top, you'll select which pedals you are sending back. Below,
you'll choose which pedals you would like to recieve. See example below:
Once you've figured out the pedals you are going to swap, just click "Next"
to pay for shipping! Send your pedals back as soon as you are ready using the
return label provided in your last subscription. As soon as we've been notified
that your pedals have been picked up, we'll send out your new pedals.
What's the difference between Subscription Price and Shipping Price?
When you sign up for a subscription, you are billed for the amount shown
at checkout each month. When you select your first pedal(s) shipment you
will pay $9.99 in shipping. After that, you only need to pay shipping when
you want to swap your current pedal(s) out for another.
If you
elect not to swap one month, you only pay the subscription price. We
separated these out so that you wouldn’t have to pay a baked in shipping
fee as part of your subscription in the months were you want to keep a
pedal a little longer and aren’t actually shipping anything.
Can I upgrade my subscription?
Yes, you can upgrade your subscription by logging in and going to your
account page. In the "Currently Playing" section, you will see the option
to upgrade your plan.
If you are already on the 3 Pedal plan, you cannot upgrade as
this is our highest plan.
What happens when I cancel my subscription?
If you decide to cancel your subscription, you will have 14 days to initiate the return of the pedal(s) you currently have. If you do not initiate the return of your pedal(s) within 14 days of cancellation, you will be charged for the replacement cost for a new version of the pedal(s) you have rented. We try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible, but do ask that you don’t just blindly try to steal our pedals.
Do Pedals come with cables and power supplies?
When you rent or buy a pedal, we will always provide the Power Supply for
the pedal! You can also see the type of power supply for any pedal in the
"Tech Specs" section of the pedal page.
We do not
provide cables. If you're new to pedals, you should know that most
guitar pedals use the same cord you would use to plug your guitar into an amp-
a 1/4 inch “instrument” cable. If you're using multiple pedals at once (such
as creating a pedal board), you can use
patch cables to string pedals together, which are smaller, 6 inch instrument cables.
Shipping
Is the shipping fee round trip?
Yes, the $9.99 shipping fee includes return shipping, and a return label will be sent when your shipment goes out, so you don’t have to worry about standing in line and figuring out postage at the post office, because that just sounds miserable.
Why isn't the shipping fee included in my subscription cost?
We seperated out the cost of renting pedals and shipping so you don't have
to pay more during months where you keep your pedals. If you rent the
perfect pedal, you deserve to keep it for as long as you want at no extra
charge.
If we paid for shipping, our monthly subscription fees
would be higher whether you are being shipped pedals or not.
How do I return a pedals?
The shipping fee you pay, whether you're signing up for your first month or making a swap, is always for round trip shipping. A return label is always included in the box to make it nice and easy. When you're ready to send the pedals back to play something new, just pack the pedals up in a box with the shipping label. We'll be notified as soon as they've been picked up and send out your next order!
How quickly will my pedals be shipped?
We do 2 day shipping on all pedals! As soon as you choose your pedals, we'll send them out.
Does Noise Boyz ship pedals outside of the U.S. ?
Today Noise Boyz only offers subscriptions in the United States. We ship across all 50 states.
Purchases
Can I buy a pedal that I'm currently playing?
Yes! If you have a subscription, you can buy pedals that you have rented.
Subscribing to Noise Boyz gives you access to great prices on used
pedals, even if you're the first to use it (it happens a lot!). With a subscription,
you can buy pedals at used prices from Noise Boyz whether you are playing it
now, rented it before, or haven't played it yet.
To purchase a
pedal you are currently playing, simply log in and go to your account.
You'll see all of the pedals that you are currently playing. As long as
the pedal is for sale, you'll see a "Purchase" button with the price of
the pedal.
Can I buy brand new pedals?
Yes, but not all pedals are available for sale brand new. If you have a
subscription, you can purchase any pedal at a great, used price. But some
of our pedals are available for sale brand new, whether you have a
subscription or not.

a button to buy it brand new with the price like this:
Can I buy used pedals?
Yes, if you have a subscription! A subscription with Noise Boyz gives you
access to buy any of our rented pedals at great, used prices. We're
replenishing our inventory all the time, so the next pedal you rent might
be brand new. These pedals are all available with your membership, and are
available for purchase at any time (not just after you rent a specific
pedal!).
When you log in as a member, you'll see a button to
purchase the pedal and the used price on every pedal page.
What is your return policy?
You can return or exchange a new or used pedals within 60 days of purchase for a full refund. We won't charge a return or restocking fee. To return a pedal reach out to us at support@noiseboyz.com

Yes. Every pedal displayed on our pedal page is in stock and available for rent.
Can I recommend a pedal?
